Iran: Paramilitary chief warns his force of repeat of 2009 events

NCRI – The commanders of Iranian regime’s paramilitary Bassij has warned the force the “enemy is plotting widespread psychological schemes” to ” create the kind of sedition we saw in 2009.

Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi – a former police counter-intelligence chief notorious for his role in the crackdown on the 1999 student protests – added: “The most efficient president is the one most closely associated with the values of the revolution and in line with the late Imam (Khomeini) and the present Imam (Ali Khamenei).”

Speaking to Bassij paramilitary force commanders in Tehran on Saturday, he said: “The enemies are plotting widespread psychological schemes, and has put its media and political and social apparatus on alert.

“In addition to using the psychological warfare, it is planning to do everything it can to disrupt the election, and create the kind of sedition we saw in 2009.”

He alerted all the forces to use every : “Every member of Bassij, every region of Bassij, every level of Bassij must observe this arena and see what role could play in it.”

He said whoever find its position well in this arena and do its duty will benefit in this world and other world.
